School Start/End Times

Mehlville High School & SCOPE start and end times are as follows:


Regular School Day:

Mehlville High
7:15 a.m. to 2:10 p.m.


Half Day/Early Release Schedule:

Mehlville School District schedules early release days once a month to provide professional development for teachers. Half days are typically scheduled for the last Wednesday of the month. See the 2023-2024 calendar for details.

On half days, schools begin at regular time, and release at the following time:

Mehlville High
Start Time: 7:15 a.m.
End Time: 11:25 a.m.

SCOPE/SSLCMS
No afternoon classes.


2-Hour Delayed Start:

A 2-hour delayed start time may be used due to inclement weather or other emergency. During a 2-hour delayed start, all schools start exactly two hours later than usual. All morning bus schedules are pushed back by exactly two hours. Dismissal times remain the same.

Start Time: 9:15 a.m.
End Time: 2:10 p.m.

SCOPE
The morning session of SCOPE is canceled during a 2-hour delayed start. Afternoon sessions continue as they normally would.
