Chromebook Support

If you are having trouble with your Chromebook, send a description of the issue you are experiencing along with your name and school to the following email address. Tech support will reach out as soon as possible.

All students' transcripts are sent through their SCOIR account. Any student wanting to attend a Trade School, 2-year, or 4-year school has to complete the following steps in order to have their transcripts sent to schools.

If your student is not 18, they must invite a parent/guardian to SCOIR to release FERPA authorization of their records to potential schools. If your student is 18, they need to release their records. If this first step is not completed, our Registrar, Mrs. Genthon, is not able to send transcripts.

Once your student completes the FERPA section, they can then lookup colleges that they’re interested in or have hopefully already applied to. They will then bookmark any of their college interests and it will be placed into the “Following” Column.

If they’ve already applied to schools, please have them move the school(s) from Following to the “Applied” column. There will be a prompt that will ask about an Application ID for the school they’ve applied to. If they don’t have an ID still click save, and it will then say your student has applied. Mrs. Genthon will then send their transcript.

If your student hasn’t completed the FAFSA please do so ASAP. Here is the link: FAFSA

Once you and your student have decided on the school they’re wanting to attend for Fall ‘21 they will need to mark that they’re Enrolling in SCOIR. They can find the Enrolling Icon underneath the Application Status if they click on the school they’ve placed in the Applied column. Students can only Enroll in one school, and this is where the final transcript will be sent.

The Wall of Acceptance is a way to congratulate your student, and recognize the school or Military Branch they’ll be attending in the Fall of ‘21. Once your student has committed and clicked Enrolling in their SCOIR account, they can bring their acceptance letter/email of where they’ll be going to the Counseling Office. A certificate with their name and the school will be printed out, and placed outside the Counseling Office for all to see. Along with their acceptance documentation please have them bring any scholarship award letters they receive from all schools they’ve applied to. We compile all of the students scholarship money at the end of the year to see the total amount of what the Class of ‘21 could receive. There’s still time for your student to apply for scholarships. Here is a link to the Counseling Website with a list of scholarship opportunities: SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. As always if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
