The Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholars Program
The Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholars Program provides scholarships for talented high-achieving young women from the Midwest to participate in academic summer programs at some of the country's top colleges:
Barnard, Brown, Cornell, Emory, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Smith, Stanford, Wash U, and Yale.
Scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need.

Yale Young Global Scholars Program
Each summer, Yale offers highly selective, two-week academic and leadership experiences for exceptional high school students.  
YYGS will run ten residential sessions in the summer of 2019.

Washington University Student Summer Research Opportunity
May 29-July 26, 2019
Summer Focus is a paid 8-week summer internship for rising seniors that places the students in a research laboratory at Washington University.
Summer focus scholars receive a stipend of $2000-$2500 as well as a Metro Pass.
Students in 11th grade are eligible to apply and are required to be in the lab 40 hours per week.
Applications for the Summer 2019 program are due February 11, 2019.

Office of Engineering Outreach Programs at MIT
This six-week program immerses students in life at MIT through math and science courses, a challenging hands on elective course, admissions counseling sessions, lab tours, and social events.
Students must be in the 11th grade, excel in math and science and have a strong academic record. 
Program costs are generously covered by private donors. Students pay only for transportation to and from MIT.

June 8-29, 2019
Three weeks of academic and enrichment experience at Murray State
-Earn six hours of university studies credit
-be awarded a four-year $2,000 renewable housing scholarship to attend Murray State University
Students must have completed their junior year of high school, have obtained a composite ACT score of 25 and a minimum GPA of 3.5. 
No cost to students except $195 tuition processing fee.  Fee waived if student receives free or reduced student lunch or ACT fee waiver.
