Dance Team

The Mehlville Pantherettes are the proud dance team of Mehlville High School in St. Louis, Missouri.  Our main focus is to represent Mehlville High School in school spirit, academics, leadership, and character.  Each team member must uphold those standards throughout their time on the squad, as well as remain in good standing with the school, MSHSAA, and the bylaw standards set by the Mehlville Pantherette Team.

Our season begins with our tryouts in March.  We have weekly meetings/practices in April and May.  Our summer practices begin once school is out and go through August.  We attend UDA Camp over the summer as well as begin preparing for football season.  Once school begins we practice Monday –Thursday and some Fridays.  Football/Soccer season runs through the end of October.  In November we begin preparing for competition and basketball season.  November – March practices continue Monday –Thursday and some Fridays.  We also practice occasionally on Sundays to prepare for competition season.

We compete regionally in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield and also attend the NDA National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, FL.  Junior Varsity members will only compete regionally.

The Mehlville Pantherettes strive to be a strong team for Mehlville High School and our goal is to not only be successful for ourselves, but for our school.  Being a part of this team is something that can change our lives and we are proud and thankful to be a part of this second family.  We want to send a thank you to all of our supporters, and look forward to continued years of tradition and success.
